Mental Wellbeing Project

Mental Health is gradually receiving more attention and funding, and not before time.
We in the Church have a special interest in promoting mental well-being, believing that faith and spirituality plays a key role.
Tim Iliffe is a Christian who, like many others, has suffered from poor mental health, and wants to use his art to help bring mental health ‘out of the closet’.
The vision is huge in scale: 1000 prescription boxes ‘filled with the contents of people’s minds’ (however you want to interpret that).
The finished installation will be exhibited at Bangor Cathedral, Venue Cymru and here in Wrexham at the Methodist Church during Lent 2018.
So, come along to the workshops in March when Tim will be present. But more than that, think if you have a group in the Church who would enjoy engaging in this.
Tim would be happy to facilitate other workshops by arrangement.
