Christmas Card

It has been agreed again this year that donations be given instead of giving one another Christmas cards. We would ask that you give one Christmas card to the whole church family. The donations will be given to Hope House Children’s Hospice.

Please pray for the following:

Avril Williams

Sandra Johnson

Phyllis Davies

Everett Williams

Ena Wild

All those who care for those in need.

We thank God for answered prayer and ask that he helps us to understand that all things do work together for good.

Dilys Whitley

Dilys’ children have sent a thank you card to the church following her funeral. The card can be seen on the notice board but a transcription of the text is shown below. We were grateful to receive £390 from the collection taken at the funeral.

We want to say a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone in the chapel, especially Chris, Joan, Myra & Keith, Vera, Warren and Christina, for making Mum’s service on the 15th so lovely.

It was exactly as she would have wanted and we felt proud that so many of her family, friends and neighbours came to the chapel to remember her.

Mum spent many happy hours with you all and talked to us constantly about her dear friends at Castle Street.

Thank you all for being such an important and treasured part of her life.

Love

Marilyn, Pat, Peter and Richard

(Dilys’ children)
